MAKING KOMBUCHA

Kombucha is fermented tea. It is delicious, healthy, and a winner as replacement for soda. It is easy to make, but a little scary if you haven’t done it before. It can have a variety of flavors. We all need some fermented food added to our diet. Kombucha is a delicious easy, cheap way of doing it. You will take home a organic “scoby” so you can start making your own Kombucha immediately after the class.

Fermented foods have been a part of many cultures around the world. It is an easy way to add probiotics to our diet. Sure, you can buy it at the grocery store, but you will lose the potency when preservatives are added to extend the shelf life.
